This process differs slightly from one company to another. All the details regarding this matter need to be determined by the agreement signed at the beginning of cooperation. Pay attention to several key aspects to ensure the process is carried out smoothly.
When do I test the application?
The agreement should state how long it can take for the software house to complete the project. At Kamee we give you the first ready modules for testing midway through the project. That means that if the whole development process is to take 60 days, you can test some of your modules after 30 days. As we develop further elements of the solution, you get notified that a new module is available for testing so that you can check its functionality. It is very important that you perform as many actions when you use the system as possible, to check if everything works the way it was supposed to according to the mockup you have created together with the IT advisor.
What happens if I find a software error?
The testing period is when you are to check the software possibilities and find potential bugs or errors. If those are present, it is necessary that you inform the software house. At Kamee, we start our faults procedure at this point. To make it as smooth as possible, it is important to describe the error in detail and provide correct numeration of errors. It is best to do it in the following way:
1/22.01.2018/AN
where number 1 is the error number, which is followed by the date and the initials of the informant. In this way, the communication is fast and effective. It takes 30 minutes or more to resolve the issue once it has been raised. The amount of time depends on how complex the issue is and how well it was described.
When will I know my application is ready?
Our team will let you know your application is ready via email 14 days prior to completing the project. That way you can prepare your company for the testing period by reserving a week of time of your key employees for the process. If the application still has some errors and we had met the deadline, we will rectify the issue within 2 working days. Two weeks' notice also gives the time to prepare the server for the installation of the software.
I got my application, what's next?
Once the application is delivered to the customer, the nest stage is the implementation of the software. The success of the process depends on the commmitment of the employees and the time spent on the process as well as the skills of the person managing the implementation. When carefully carried out, it will give you a guarantee of efficiently used solution.
